Just wondering … is doctor-client sex not taboo in France?

I think if my therapist tried to pass for a tax accountant she'd flunk. Shouldn't it work the other way, too?

Of course, some might also add, the movie possibly reflects females' hidden (or not so hidden) desires of a wise soothing father figure (doctor, powerful, wise, but also a stranger) interested in them, caring, if only for the mere fact of listening. Possibly you may have noticed the movie for both reasons? This is a half-joking comment. I don't mean to be intrusive in the reasons for your cinematographic interests!
