I resort to making lists of things to do (so I now-and-then remember there’s stuff to do offline too). I set goals for myself, like: “Today I’m going to get up by noon!” Yes, really “today,” because usually I don’t retire until 2 a.m. … 3 a.m. … Etc.
When I was back in Arizona earlier this summer, it mildly irritated me that an inventor friend (whose garage I needed to access) routinely worked until 5 a.m., collected his newspaper, and didn’t wake till 1 p.m. But now I understand … Sorry, Jerry…
